Gillian Elisa (born Gillian Elizabeth Thomas, 10th August 1953) is a Welsh actress, singer and comedian, born in Carmarthen and brought up in Lampeter, West Wales. She trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff.
She played Sabrina Daniels in the long-running S4C soap opera 'Pobol Y Cwm' from 1974 to 2010, and has since appeared in 'Craith/Hidden', 'Bang', 'Stella', 'A Mind to Kill', 'Gavin & Stacey', 'Casualty' and the BAFTA-winning 'Sherlock'. She has also released three Welsh-language albums and one English-language album, and performed one-woman comedy shows at the Edinburgh Festival. Her autobiography, 'Hyd yn Hyn (Up To Now)', reached number one in the Wales book charts in 2008.
