Paul, our Gifach has changed so much but it is now more beautiful than ever and still holds good memories. Love Irene Nash-Glen.
Paul was inspired to write his wonderful poems about Gilfach Goch after he saw my photos of GG. On the internet. One of the photos, I named "Gilfach Goch - a small red valley". Paul asked for my permission and which I willingly gave, to use some of my in his first book. I am very proud to be associated with Paul.
I think there is a family connection, my dad had an uncle William Nash who was married to Amelia, my dads name is James Raymond Nash, born to Catherine Ackerman, Bridgend 28/11/26.
Paul Rees is coming to Australia in 2008 to read his poetry. The people of Brisbane (qld) especially are looking forward to his visit.
Paul continues to write about social issues and his recent publication ' I was always free' links contemporary racism to the African slave trade. His research, poetry and art blends the subject together, creating a unique genre accessible to a range of readers.
