Gwyn was my mother's first cousin. His mother and my grandfather being brother and sister. In latter years we only seemed to meet at family funerals but he was always a joy to meet up with. I and my mother attended his funeral and we were overwhelmed by the number of mourners and the differing backgrounds from which they came.
