Clive Sullivan played rugby league for Hull K. R. and Hull F. C, he also played for Great Britain and was the first black captain for Great Britain. Clive passed away in 1985 aged just 42 from cancer.Connection: Clive Sullivan was born in the Splott district of Cardiff.

His son, Anthony Sullivan, went on to have a distinguished career with Hull Kingston Rovers, and latterly St. Helens.
