I knew Robbie when he played for Swansea City. He was a wonderful, cheerful, gentle man who loved the game. He died about three years ago of a heart attack while on the pitch, playing for the team he managed. I have missed him ever since.

After his death the Half Moon pub in Llanelli was named 'The Robbie James' Apparently they have some memorabilia there!

Robbie was my cousin I loved him and miss him terribly he was my hero thats why at fortyfive years old I am still playing first team football for Cwm Albion in div four of the Swansea Senior League My mother and robbies father Roy were brother and sister we all miss him.
