Rhydian Jones is a Welsh actor of stage, screen and television, born and raised a farmer's son near Aberystwyth in Wales (an exact birth date is not publicly documented). He is not to be confused with the Welsh singer known simply as 'Rhydian'. His career began on screen in lead, Welsh-language roles for the BBC and S4C in 'Strike', 'Y Palmant Aur' and 'Caerdydd' for Fiction Factory.
He went on to appear opposite Kelly Macdonald and Miriam Margolyes in the film House, and took on the demanding role of Anthony/Fay Morgan, a transgender serial killer, in the award-winning TV series A Mind to Kill. He later joined the cast of Sky's airport drama Mile High, and his film work has included Asylum alongside Sir Ian McKellen, Natasha Richardson and Hugh Bonneville, Goal! - Living the Dream opposite Anna Friel, Last Chance Harvey opposite Dustin Hoffman, and the improvised comedy Nativity! opposite Martin Freeman.
