Beth Robert is a Welsh actress from the village of Pont-rhyd-y-groes, near Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. She trained at the College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, graduating in 1986, and has worked in Welsh- and English-language television ever since.
Robert first played Lisa Morgan in the long-running S4C soap opera 'Pobol y Cwm' in January 1990. In 1997 her character Lisa was part of the first kiss between two women shown on Welsh television, a landmark moment for the series. She left 'Pobol y Cwm' in 2000, before returning to it in 2019 after a nineteen-year absence for a further run of prominent storylines.
Her other Welsh-language credits include 'Con Passionate', in which she starred as Judith, and 'Teulu', in which she played Myra across five series. In English, she is known for the Sky One comedy-drama 'Stella', two series of CBBC's 'Young Dracula', and roles in 'Hinterland' and 'The Indian Doctor'.
Robert is married to Paul Harris, whom she met in Porthmadog in March 2000, and the couple have one daughter together.
