This site previously listed Robert Daws as having Welsh parents. That claim could not be verified against any published biography, interview or official source: publicly available records describe him as English, born in Essex, with no documented Welsh ancestry. We have been unable to confirm a genuine Welsh family connection for Robert Daws, and we set out the facts plainly here so that readers are not misled by the earlier, unverified claim.
