Sian Adey-Jones, born in December 1957 at Bodfari, Denbighshire, is a Welsh model and former beauty queen, also referred to on this site in the past simply as Sian Jones. She was crowned Miss Wales in 1976, going on to finish as second runner-up at Miss Universe 1976, held in Hong Kong, and as first runner-up at Miss United Kingdom 1976. In 1977 she competed at Miss International as Miss Britain.
After her pageant career, Adey-Jones became a well-known glamour model, appearing regularly as a Page 3 model in The Sun during the late 1970s and 1980s. She also took a background role, credited as "The Girl", in the 1985 James Bond film A View to a Kill.
Adey-Jones later settled on the island of Ibiza. This site had previously located her birthplace as Deganwy, Conwy; published biographical sources instead give Bodfari, Denbighshire, and this entry has been updated to reflect that.

In 1978, to mark Scotland's qualification for the Argentina World Cup, Adey-Jones appeared in the Daily Mirror wearing a Scotland football shirt, one of a number of high-profile modelling assignments during her Page 3 career. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder and my feelings have always been that Sian personifies the ultimate image of feminine beauty. Were I to sculpt a physical image in stone of the ideal woman, I would use her as the model and not change a thing. Surely, such beauties as Helen of Troy would have paled in Sian's presence.
