William Williams Pant y Celyn lived on a farm called Pant y Celyn, which I used to walk through as a boy to go fishing on the river Twrch some fifty-four years ago. There is a monument in his memory in the village Cwmlllynfell, where my wife and I were born. He was one of the most prolific hymn writers in Wales.
