David Davies

Was a highly renowned 'cellist and violinist' throughout Carmarthenshire and was acclaimed for his accompaniment by the singer Dennis Noble for an Aria from Mendelssohn's 'Elijah'.

I remember them meeting in Lyons Corner House Oxford Street sometime around 1946 and Rae wanted him to work with him for BBC London but by now my Father, David Davies was a committed fiery Welsh preacher.
