Played the horn in the Hall? Orchestra under Sir John Barbirolli and in the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra with Constantin Silvestri before beginning his conducting career. Long high profile career!

Alun (bronco) was a member of the National Youth Orchestra in the early 1960's. A contemporary of John Cale (Velvet Underground). He and Terence Johns (drac) a horn player with the LSO performed a comedy routine to keep the other 'nash' members amused no end!
