Yep, that's right Shirley lived in Splott and use to sing in the 'Bomb and Danger' pub. She also used to pinch my mothers jam sandwiches at school (she hasn't forgiven her).

Shirley had no memory of Tiger Bay. She was brought up in Portmanmoor Road as her Mother moved to Splott when Shirley was barely three years of age.
