He was my grandfather's (or was it great grandfather, you know how family histories get confused) cousin! Born in Cardiff I believe. Mother (Dame?) Clara Davies, famous music teacher at the time. Clara's sister was Mrs Worthington (my great grandmother) of 'Don't put your daughter on the stage' fame - allegedly!
