In the sixties he led the Amen Corner. When the band split up, he reconstituted the group under the name Fair Weather (excellent album 'Beginning From An End', 1970). Later he recorded a couple of great solo albums (1974, 1975, 1976, 1980) and then a record as part of group called the Local Boys (1983). Currently he is a regular sideman for Roger Waters and Eric Clapton. He has also appeared on tens of albums as a session player and/or a guest. In my opinion he is one of the greatest songwriters and musicians the world all over. He used to write real lyrics, sometimes pessimistic but full of words of wisdom, metaphors, joy of blues. It is impossible for me to tell you what a wonderful experience it is to listen to that kind of music he used to play. It is rock and roll and it is still alive! I cannot understand why he gave up his solo career. Anyway, I do wish to thank him for all he has done in music business. You can be proud of him, Wales. Yes, Amen.
