Sir Clement Price Thomas KCVO was born on 22nd Nov 1893 in Abercarn, Monmouthshire. His parents were William Thomas and Rosamund Gertrude Thomas (nee Price). In 1951 when King George VI needed surgery for a diseased lung Price Thomas undertook the operation, the successful outcome of which was rewarded with the Knighthood of the Royal Victorian Order - KCVO. He married Ethel Doris Ricks in 1925. He died on 19th March 1973.

Yes, I am related. My grandfather was his uncle. Their great, great grandmother was present when the French invaded in 1797.
