Mr. Teale is one of the best actor's in the world, today. We Americans do not get to see enough of him. A good deal of his work has been done for British TV. He did, however, win a Tony Award in New York for 'Best Featured Actor in a Play', for his work in 'A Doll's House', in 1997. I would have arranged to see it, if only I had known. It is my dream to see him perform. What a fine, fine actor! There is no other quite like him, anywhere.

He grew up in my gran's street (he's from Cornelly near Kenfig Hill, Bridgend). Owen is a stage name he's really called Nigel.

My mum (Heulwen Watkins) taught him in primary school in Cornelly.

I am Owens brother Robert, he has two brothers both older. He was born in Swansea but was brought up in North Cornelly. Owen attended Kenfig Hill comprehensive and later the Guildford School of Dance and Drama. He is married with three children and lives in London. Owen is very proud of his Welsh roots and his family are all very proud of him.
