Donald Houston, actor with a connection to Wales (Rhondda, Tonypandy)

Donald Houston

Too many British and Hollywood film credits to mention. Probably, Donald's first 'Prominent' part was in the 1950's film 'The Blue Lagoon'. I think it was in his final film, 'Where Eagles Dare' where he co-stared with Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood.
Connection: Donald, Brother of equally famous Glyn. Both born and raised in Tonypandy, Rhondda Valley.

There's a scene in "Where Eagles Dare" when you can see Donald Houston from Tonypandy with William Squire from Neath and a certain R Burton from Pontrhydyfen all in the same frame. Clint Eastwood might have got in on the act too!
