TV, radio and theatre career. Played two roles in 'The Archers'. Associated with Salisbury Playhouse and has performed his own play 'Shylock' at Stratford. Played Cassius in Ludlow Festival's 'Julius Caesar'.Connection: Born in Wales 1948, raised in Swansea. Both parents Welsh. His is father was Presbyterian Minister of Argyl Chapel in St. Helens Road, Swansea in the 1960's and 1970's.

I think he might have dubbed the voice of 'Sandy' in the series of 'Monkey!'.


Armstrong's book 'A case for Shylock - around the world with Shakespeare's Jew' was published by Nick Hern books, August 2004.
