Robert e. Lee's ancestry was completely English. Reference "The Lees of Virginia: seven generations of an American family" by Paul Nagle.

Ed- With SO many Welsh settlers in Virginia, over seven generations I imagine there is bound to be some connection especially when you consider how often Americans assume Engish for Welsh. But until someone can identify it this entry will remain a misnomer.
