Connection: He was the son of Welsh immigrant parents in Boston. He is buried in the churchyard of Wrexham Parish Church, not too many miles from the family seat at Plas yn Ial, Denbighshire.

Name actually Ial, named after the area where he was from, as in the village Llanharmon-yn-ial
