Trained in Wrexham, London and Glasgow. Against alternating strips of solid colour, Julie Roberts sets sinister objects (e.g.: mortuary tables with shrouded corpses). Painted in oil paint with some agitation and manipulation, which at a distance has a powerful naturalism against the pulsating acrylic colour.
