Wales itself has some home grown political icons but we were amazed to see how many leaders around the world have Welsh roots. The American Declaration of Independence alone has signatories who not only had Welsh ancestry but spoke Welsh too. Most people in the UK know of Aneurin Bevan but our list also includes very influential thinkers and leaders like Hillary Clinton, Jonathan Roberts, Llewellyn Thompson, Samuel Griffith, Thomas Jefferson and more!
