Boxer of note. Defeated Kirkland Laing tp become the British Champion and went on to beat Mark Harris for the Commonwealth title too. He later went up against Henrik-Palm for the European Welterweight Championship, a match lasting just two rounds. What a tough man this guy was. He fought in three world title fight's against Milton McCrory twice. One was a draw. (A lot of people thought he won it) Then he was pitted against Donald Curry who at the time was the top pound for pound in the world. I would just like to say that at the time when he was in his prime I was only about ten years of age. But I remember him scrapping in the ring. Good fighter and know doubt a good man.
