Griffith Jones

Had a distinguished career in films beginning in the 1930's. Starring roles in movies such as 'The wicked lady' and 'The rake's progress'. The latter part of his career was spent on stage with the RSC.

According to his obituary in The Guardian, his father was a Welsh-speaking former lead miner who had a dairy business in London.
