James Wilde
He led a socialist party march through central London in 1979 and famously called the then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher 'a Nationalist Roach'.Connection: He was born in Bangor, North Wales and lived in Llandudno until the late 1970's.

Wilde worked as a socialist campaigner up until his retirement in 1998. He currently lives in the South of France. (A well known socialist retreat, Ed says with tongue firmly planed in cheek. )
