Henry Tudor (VII)Raised a Franco/Scot/Welsh army and defeated the infamous English King Richard the 3rd at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485.
Connection: Born 28th February 1457 in Pembroke Castle to his thirteen year old mother and son of Edmund Tudor, a Welshman of Welsh royal lineage.
He was Welsh and re-designed the Welsh flag from a white background to a Green and White one.
Began arguably the most influential dynasty in British history. A Welsh rule of England by the Tudors which sowed the seeds of the British empire and reformed the country so deeply we still feel its effects now.
