Born Danygraig Swansea 9th Sept 1921. Starred as Mr. Bumble in 1968 film Oliver!. Cast member of classic comedy 'The Goon Show'. Knighted in 1981. Greatly missed!

My family met Harry in Launceston, Tasmania when he did a show there. We went back stage and he told us the story of how he met Spike Milligan when in North Africa during World War Two. It was quite a funny story.

Harry lived in St. Thomas his brother was vicar of the church at the top of Delhi St. Went to the army in the war where he met Spike Milligan and I think the rest of the 'Goons'.
