Glyn Daniel
Glyn was an archaeologist who made some of the earliest efforts to populaise the subject on radio and television. He wrote several books on European archeology and a number of articles in archaeological journals.
Glyn Edmund Daniel was born in Barry South Wales in 1914.

William Davis
A pirate and crewman with Roberts and Howell. At Sierra Leone Davis quarreled with a shipmate, whom he beat and then deserted his ship to live ashore with the natives, one of whom he married and settled with.
